Joe is your contact at Mavie for questions about your information. Email [email protected]. The proposal for commissioned work identifies the contracting business and any project-specific data arrangements.
What we receive
When you email or message us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, contact details and description of the work. Please leave out passwords and confidential customer information from an initial enquiry.
How we use it
We use your message to respond, discuss a possible engagement and carry out work you commission. We also keep records needed to operate the business and meet applicable obligations. The usual grounds are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract and our legitimate interest in operating a secure, responsive business. We do not sell enquiry information or use it to build advertising profiles.
Contact services and project work
Email is handled by our email provider. WhatsApp messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms. People and services involved in a project receive information needed for their agreed role. We agree the use of client information with AI services before doing so.
Website visits
The hosting and security services may record technical information such as an IP address, requested page and browser type. The email and WhatsApp buttons open those services; clicking a button does not submit an enquiry through this website. Fonts are served from this website. WordPress uses cookies for people signing into the editor.
How long information stays
An enquiry is normally kept for no more than 12 months unless it becomes active work or a longer period is required for business, tax or legal records. Copies in email and messaging services and technical logs follow the relevant account retention settings.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or object to its use. We may need to retain limited records where required. Send privacy questions to [email protected].
